The Opportunity:
Project Officers assist in the operations of a Project/Program/Portfolio Office and the delivery of projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate ILS activities under general direction to enable the sustainment and operational readiness of ISR mission systems.
Work with engineering, operations and project teams to translate system requirements into effective sustainment and support solutions across the lifecycle.
Analyse and report on sustainment performance; including availability, reliability, maintainability and lifecycle costs to inform decision making and improve system outcomes.
Support governance processes including sustainment reviews, design gate reviews and approval boards ensuring logistics considerations are appropriately integrated.
Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, influencing support outcomes and coordinating contributions from service providers.
Technical Skills
3-5 years' minimum experience in ILS, sustainment management or logistics engineering
Experience supporting or contributing to sustainment activities for aviation, ISR or mission critical systems
Degree in Engineering, ICT supply chain or related discipline
